WHO I AM AS A TEACHER ?
a) My teaching philosophy?
b) My beliefs about my teaching?
Sometimes it is difficult to evaluate yourself and know that what you do is good or bad because you will always feel good, wonderful, with the abilities but you do not know if that is really what happens with our students so it is necessary a process of evaluation by them to see shortcomings and improve so according to the assessments that my students made of me I can say that my role as a teacher is good, I can teach and create learning environments according to the needs of each one, I have always liked the confidence that is created in the students and me as a teacher that makes the classes more enjoyable and interesting and in the negative aspects is that I must train myself more and be completely sure of what I am teaching since because of my language level in some occasions I had doubts but they were resolved through the class.
c) What I learned about teaching speaking skills?
Teaching a second language is wonderful because you have the possibility to make your students get to know other cultures, another point of view completely different from the one they have had during their lives. The skills that we traditionally had or learned to learn a second language was through the grammar method which is the pioneer, so having the possibility to improve and advance with a very important skill and is another method of learning in which the speaking skills are the fundamental ones and by which you will have to advance to understand the second language.
Teaching the speaking skills is curious in some cases the students develop more easily because with this they have the opportunity to give their points of view, to argue an idea and even though their fluency or vocabulary may be difficult they have to make themselves understood and that makes it a very big challenge for the student and helps them to make more effort.
